Description: This rug is known as Bakhtiari rug, the name is taken from Bakhtiari tribe, who live near the central Zagros mountains in the Iran.
In many cases Bakhtiri rugs are made of design patterns inspired by Persian gardens.
Rug is antique, made over a century ago using 100 percent natural dyes. Very rare rug and hard to find anything similar to it. The back of the rug looks more beautiful than the front which is normal in antique rugs. They can be used in either side.
A favorite rug for antique lovers because of the combination of colors and design. Main color is dark blue very close to black with a very pleasant mix with other bright colors.
The main feature of this rug is the design which is a Torang (large Golfarng or flourished flower in the middle) without Lachek (no corner design).
The more you look at this rug the more it brings you the feeling of calm and comfort.
Rug has a little bit plie and foundation is visible.
