Description: This rug is made of Kork or soft wool ( top part of wool which is softer than lower parts ) and silk, and is labeled Mitra which is the name of a girl who the weaver had been in love with and after a long period time and effort, he finally got married with her. He then assigned her name to his works. The design of rug is very unique and different which includes big roses and other beautiful flower bouquets. The middle part of rug has three merged medallions resembling antique colors. This rug includes Klim Baft and Aroos Baft signs on top and bottoms weaved in three dimensional effect on the edges of rug. Rug has a total of 30,600,000 knots. The flower bouquets on the rug background are in the shape of butterflies which makes the Mitra design set apart from other designs.
